The Koscove Agricultural Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in southern Colorado, dedicated to agricultural education, land stewardship, and community learning. The center is situated on 2,500 acres and operates as a functioning cattle ranch, providing a real‑world agricultural environment where learners can engage with agriculture as it is practiced every day.
Through a combination of in‑person experiences, online courses, and video‑based lessons, the Koscove Agricultural Learning Center offers accessible, place‑based educational opportunities that support agricultural literacy, skill development, and long‑term community resilience.
The Koscove Agricultural Learning Center is intentionally structured as a working, diversified agricultural operation,
allowing education to take place within active systems rather than simulated settings.
The property includes:

A functioning cattle ranch operating across diverse rangelands

Functional and teaching greenhouses used for plant production, season extension, and hands on instruction

Example homesteads that demonstrate sustainable and self sufficient living practices

An equestrian training center supporting horsemanship and livestock related education

A teaching kitchen dedicated to food systems, nutrition, and processing education

Dedicated learning spaces supported by full time staff with agricultural, technical, and educational expertise
These facilities enable learners to observe, practice, and analyze
how agricultural systems function across production, processing, management, and stewardship contexts.
The Equestrian Center and Homestead House are ready for use and classes. But first let's introduce you to the facilities, Ranch and Team with a good old fashioned Fall Festival - Open House. Food, hay rides, tours, games, give aways, and learning opportunities.
